Although its wins were not consecutive, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy reached it’s third box office victory and became 2014’s biggest hit domestically. Guardians is expected to bring in an estimated $21.2 million over the long Labor Day holiday, placing its cume near $279 million and soaring past fellow Marvel hero Captain America: The Winter Soldier which earned the $259.8 million by April release.
Batman Begins star Liam Neeson revealed that he’s more than willing to reprise the role of Ra’s al Ghul in the third season of the “Arrow” TV series.

The first trailer and poster for Jon Stewart’s directorial debut Rosewater has been released ahead of its screening at the Telluride Film Festival followed shortly by a Toronto Film Festival appearance.
Starring Gael García Bernal as Iranian-Canadian journalist Maziar Bahari who was arrested for espionage while covering the Iranian elections in 2009, Rosewater opens in theaters on November 7.

The folks over at Geek Pride have a source who apparently worked on Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot set, and they’ve provided the website with two snaps of what appears to be Doctor Doom (Toby Kebbell) as well as Michael B. Jordan’s stunt double for Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, and a pre-CG stand-in for The Thing.
