‘Assassin’s Creed’: New Trailer Takes Fassbender Through Time
20th Century Fox has released the second Assassin’s Creed trailer online, and it’s looking pretty awesome.
Directed by Justin Kurzel (Macbeth), the big screen take on the popular video game franchise finds Michael Fassbender in dual roles as both the 21st century dwelling Callum Lynch and his 15th century ancestor Aguilar de Nerha.
Also featuring Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Michael K. Williams, Brendan Gleeson, and Ariane Labed, the movie is set to hit theaters on December 21st. Check out the action-packed trailer below, and a cool new poster for Assassin’s Creed.
I feel like this movie could be good, but I am actually so frustrated by the soundtracks they keep using for these trailers.
Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.
