‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ Received a PG-13 Rating

Angry Supes

According to Box Office Mojo, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has been rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) for “intense sequences of violence and action throughout, and some sensuality.”

So this is not really a big surprise as every Batman movie since Tim Burton’s 1989 version has been rated PG-13, as have the most recent Superman films, Superman Returns and Man of Steel.

Oh, never mind. Looks like the fights between Bats (Ben Affleck) and Supes (Henry Cavill) will get pretty brutal, and there may be some romance between Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) too. Maybe directors cut? Lol.

Director Zack Snyder recently confirmed that Caped Crusader will get more screentime than Superman. Hoping they do justice to Wonder Woman.

Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice

Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane return from Man of Steel. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice also stars Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film; plus Jason Momoa will be appearing as Aquaman.

The hero-against-hero movie is scheduled for a release in the U.S. on March 25, 2016. Are you excited to see a direct follow-up to Man of Steel for Easter Weekend?
