‘Captain America: Civil War’: New Character Posters for Team Cap

Chris Evans

Marvel Studios has released a series of new Captain America: Civil War character posters featuring the members of Team Cap, ahead of the film’s new trailer which will be released later this week.

There’s Captain America (Chris Evans), Bucky/The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner).

New lineups will form around Captain America and Iron Man as they clash over superheroes’ place in society and issues of accountability. Also starring Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Don Cheadle, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Frank Grillo William Hurt, Martin Freeman, Daniel Brühl, and Paul Bettany, the film is due for release on May 6th.

There will no doubt be posters for Team Stark soon enough, but for now, click on the gallery below and see Steve Rogers’ team. (Is it me, or does Paul Rudd just seem out of character?)

Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability. Get ready to pick a side and join the nonstop action playing out on two fronts when Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War opens in U.S. theaters on May.
