Official Trailer for Timur Bekmambetov-Produced “Birthday!” (“Днюха!”)

Timur Bekmambetov re-teams with “Enjoy Yourself, Bob!” (“Гуляй, Вася!”) director Roman Karimov for a new joint project, titled Birthday! (“Днюха!”), a romantic comedy about the consequences of a raging party.

Karimov’s new film takes up the banner of digital storytelling previously carried by “Unfriended”, a low budget horror film produced by Bekmambetov, which takes place entirely on a laptop screen.

Sony Pictures Entertainment has debuted a trailer for Crooked House, another Agatha Christie film adaptation (the other is Kenneth Branagh‘s star-studded “Murder on the Orient Express”), which looks like it could be the sleeper favorite.

The film stars Glenn Close, Max Irons and Christina Hendricks, with a supporting cast that includes Stefanie Martini, Gillian Anderson, Terence Stamp, and Christian McKay.

Gary Oldman is Winston Churchill in New ‘Darkest Hour’ Trailer

Focus Features has revealed the new Darkest Hour trailer, which stars a totally unrecognizable Gary Oldman as the incredibly-quotable British Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill.

Directed by Joe Wright (“Atonement”) and written by Anthony McCarten (“The Theory of Everything”), the film covers four weeks in 1940. Oldman is joined onscreen by Kristin Scott Thomas, Lily James, Stephen Dillane, Ronald Pickup, and Ben Mendelsohn.

Directed by Will Gluck from a script he wrote with Rob Lieber, the film features the voice of James Corden as the fluffy bunny Peter and also stars Margot Robbie, Daisy Ridley, and Elizabeth Debicki.
