Fans of The Hunger Games might not want to skip the new Russian blockbuster called Dance to Death (Tantsy nasmert).

The film intertwines ancient rituals with modern technology. The film’s protagonist, Kostya (Ivan Zhvankin) falls in love with one of the participants of the brutal dance tournament, which is held in a high-tech arena. Young people, surrounded by cruel world in 2070s have to fight for their survival.

Co-starring Lusha Ilyashenko, Nikita Volkov, Alexander Tyutin, Agnes Ditkovskite, and Denis Shvedov, the Russian post-apocalyptic thriller Dance to Death is directed by Andrey Volgin.

The young indie production company Kinodanz has already sold the movie to France and Germany and has unveiled its fall schedule. Sadly, no English subtitles are available as of yet. But nevermind that, check out all the goods below.
