‘Downsizing’ Drops Another Teaser Trailer

Alexander Payne’s Sci-Fi Dramedy

Paramount has dropped a new trailer for Downsizing, and it looks like a fun trip.

Alexander Payne’s new film is a high concept sci-fi dramedy in the vein of something like The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, filled with actors like Matt Damon, Christoph Waltz, Hong Chau, Jason Sudeikis and Kristen Wiig.

The film is offering up a little too much for audiences to chew on and, so far, it has earned mixed reviews on the festival circuit.

Downsizing will hit theaters on December 22nd. Watch the new trailer below.

Alexander Payne’s Sci-Fi Dramedy

DOWNSIZING imagines what might happen if, as a solution to over-population, Norwegian scientists discover how to shrink humans to five inches tall and propose a 200-year global transition from big to small. People soon realize how much further money goes in a miniaturized world, and with the promise of a better life, everyman Paul Safranek (Matt Damon) and wife Audrey (Kristen Wiig) decide to abandon their stressed lives in Omaha in order to get small and move to a new downsized community — a choice that triggers life-changing adventures.
