DRACULA UNTOLD International Trailer Features Lots of New Footage

Actually, the first international trailer does highlight a few different elements of the narrative not included in the domestic theatrical preview, namely the peace in Vlad Tepes (Luke Evans) homeland Transylvania and how Sultan Mehmed II (Dominic Cooper) threatens to destroy it.

Desperate to find a way to defend his people and his family, Prince Vlad ends up striking a Faustian bargain with an ancient evil (Charles Dance) that allows him to gain incredible powers that will help him win the war. But at a terrible cost to his own soul as he becomes the vampire Count Dracula, the iconic and immortal bloodsucker we all know and fear.

Directed by Gary Shore, the film also stars Sarah Gadon, Diarmaid Murtagh, Samantha Barks, Charlie Cox, Zach McGowan, Paul Kaye, Noah Huntley and Art Parkinson.

Scripted by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, the action adventure Dracula Untold (a.k.a Dracula Zero in some regions overseas) arrives on October 17th, just in time for Halloween. (Universal really needs to ramp up the promotion).

Still looks like it belongs to Marvel Universe.
