DRAGON BLADE U.S. Trailer Starring John Cusack, Adrien Brody & Jackie Chan

Roman Leader Tiberius

Lionsgate Premiere has revealed a new U.S. trailer for the upcoming historic action epic Dragon Blade (aka Tian Jiang Xiong Shi) starring Jackie Chan, John Cusack and Adrien Brody.

Hong Kong filmmaker Daniel Lee’s action-packed adventure has already scored an impressive $120 million since opening in China this past February and is set for U.S. limited release on September 4.

The cast also includes Peng Lin (Fen Shou Da Ren), Si Won Choi (Athena: Goddess of War), Lorie Pester (Gates of the Sun) Vanness Wu (Gui Mi) and Sharni Vinson (You’re Next).

The action sequences and sets are surprisingly great, but the dialogues are cringe-worthy. Watch below:

When corrupt Roman leader Tiberius (Adrien Brody) arrives with a giant army to claim the Silk Road, Huo An (Jackie Chan) and his group of trained warriors teams up with an elite legion of defected Roman soldiers led by General Lucius (John Cusack) to maintain the delicate balance of power in the region. To protect his country and his new friends, Huo An gathers the warriors of thirty-six ethnic nations together to fight Tiberius in an incredible epic battle.
