Drew Goddard has Left DAREDEVIL TV Show

Eep, another unfortunate news this holiday weekend. The Cabin in the Woods co-writer/director Drew Goddard has left Marvel’s Daredevil TV show adaptation after writing the first two episodes.

Taking over the show is Spartacus creator Steven S. DeKnight, while Goddard will remain an executive producer on the 13-episode series. Actually, Goddard pulled out of Daredevil in late March and moves on to write Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man spinoff film, The Sinister Six.

In a massive pact with Marvel, Netflix picked up Daredevil with Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage and the four shows will then culminate in miniseries The Defenders.

Daredevil will kick off in 2015.

Marvel has to be careful since the addition of the heavily tattooed DeKnight could mean the show will feature extra amounts of gratuitous violence and nudity.
