First Look: Elsa & Anna are Back in FROZEN FEVER

Walt Disney Animation Studios

Update: Walt Disney Animation Studios have released a featurette for Frozen Fever, which you can check out below.

Frozen Fever short film is a new animation from Disney, starring the characters from Frozen, which will play in front of director Kenneth Branagh’s live-action Cinderella, opening March 13th.

Well tacking a Frozen short onto Cinderella is gonna make that tired-looking movie a hit for sure.

The very first images from a seven-minute short film, sort of a Frozen sequel, feature all your favorite characters, including Princess Elsa (Idina Menzel) seemingly planning a surprise birthday party for little sister Anna (Kristen Bell).

The snowman Olaf (Josh Gad), Kristoff (Jonathan Groff), and Sven will also be coming back, and from the looks of the first photos, it’s going to be one heck of a party if Olaf doesn’t eat the cake first.

The birthday party hits a snag when Elsa catches a cold, and given her icy powers, it’s safe to say that her control over all things ice and snow may put more than just the party at risk.

Frozen Fever is directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, and there’s a brand new song by Oscar-winning composers Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.

Recent reports have suggested that a full sequel may also be on the way. Take a look at the below photo gallery and keep an eye out here for the first teaser which should be arriving soon.

Update: See a behind the scenes look at Frozen Fever.

I’m glad to see the Frozen mania is still going.
