EX MACHINA’s Alicia Vikander in Talks for New BOURNE & ASSASSIN’s CREED

Alicia Vikander

Swedish actress Alicia Vikander is everywhere right now: Ex Machina star is in talks to join both the next Bourne sequel and the video game adaptation Assassin’s Creed, two of next year’s biggest action tentpoles.

These two projects would certainly conflict with the less coveted The Circle with Tom Hanks, and it appears that Vikander will likely end up dropping out of the film that got a lot of attention at this year’s Cannes market. Deadline is reporting that IM Global’s Stuart Ford already made an offer to Emma Watson to replace her.

Assassin’s Creed is already scheduled to start shooting in late August with Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard both slated to star in the film and the Untitled Matt Damon/Bourne Sequel is expected to begin production in the early fall. If the actress takes both roles, she’ll likely shoot them back-to-back. Alicia was fine in Ex Machina, maybe she would be great with some actions.

Bourne 5 is set to hit theaters on June 29th, 2016 while Assassin’s Creed arrives later in the year on December 21st, 2016.
