Fans Petitions Want Zack Snyder Out of ‘Justice League’ Films

Justice :League Petition

Though there have been plenty of people who went into the theater and enjoyed Zack Snyder‘s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, there were just as many who were so unhappy with the movie and how the story unfolded so they want Warner Bros. to replace Snyder on Justice League before it’s too late.

Justice League: Part One heads in front of the cameras on April 11th, but that hasn’t stopped an angry bunch from staking out a petition to boot Snyder off the film, which carries a planned November 17th, 2017 release date.

Launched by a man named Bryan Curz, the first petition comes from fans in the United States, and already has 4.160 supports on its way to 5.000. He argues that:

“Zack Snyder is not the person to bring the Justice League to the big screen. He’s had two chances now to adapt DC characters and has produced middling results. Even if you loved Man of Steel and BvS. There has to come a time when WB and DC want someone at the helm that can create something that WON’T divide people in such a way. The building blocks are there for a great different set of superhero movies. Good actors and actresses and even directors. Zack Snyder is just not the guy that should be in charge of the biggest and most important films in the franchise. Especially with his track record now.”

A second petition hails from India. It has far less supporters and wants Warner Bros. to remove the director taken off from the entire DC franchise. Both were started six days ago, prior to the wide release of Batman v Superman, but received most of their support over the last couple of day.

Me personally, I don’t think it will happen, but I like that DC fanboys are bitching about something besides Marvel fanboys bitching about other stuff. These online petitions always sound kind of ridiculous. No one cares about it. The only thing that will work is poor sales. If people really wanted to change something they need to vote with their wallets.
