Final DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES Trailer Looks Emotional

War is coming regardless of whether apes want it or not. And so it is with trailers. Fox has just let loose the final Dawn of the Planet of the Apes trailer for its ambitious sequel and it still looks great.

The follow-up to the reboot of the Planet of the Apes franchise is going to be a very worthy entry in one of the greatest sci-fi series of all time and this final trailer will leave you on the edges of your seats.

Weta and others have done an incredible job creating Caesar and bringing all those apes to life and everything about it feels heartfelt and passionate.

On the other side, the days of subtle trailers are gone and this is one of those trailers that contains every important beat of the movie, so you may want to skip watching the latest preview for Matt Reeves’ film if you don’t want to spoil things.

Dawn of the Planets of the Apes stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Enrique Murciano, Kirk Acevedo and Judy Greer.

The action-adventure opens July 11th.

DOTPOTA is certainly shaping up to be this summer’s must see movie.

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
