Action-Fuelled Final Trailer for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2

Here comes a new trailer for the upcoming superhero sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 2, allegedly titled the “final trailer.” Between early December and mid-March we have been deluged with fifteen or so other trailers, but the surprise is a lot of the footage is new.

Aside of Sony’s huge and nightmarish marketing campaign for Marc Webb’s upcoming Spider-Man sequel, the film looks colorful and witty, and pretty damn good with a bright palette that feels like it was created using old-school technology.

The trailer has a lot more Rhino – a full body shot of him charging at Peter Parker, a lot less to do with Electro, and most importantly, way more Green Goblin and his throwdown with Spidey.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will begin its international rollout April 16 and swings into North America on May 2. The film stars Andrew Garfield Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx , Dane DeHaan, Paul Giamatti, Campbell Scott, Embeth Davidtz, Colm Feore, Sally Field and B.J. Novak.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: Oscorp.
