First ALOHA Trailer with Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone & Rachel McAdams

Cameron Crowe Romantic Comedy

Remember the Sony hacking scandal when outgoing Sony Pictures co-chief Amy Pascal did say that Aloha was awful and that the film didn’t work? Well, that’s the movie we are talking about because the first trailer was just released.

Once called Deep Tiki, director Cameron Crowe‘s first feature film since 2011’s We Bought a Zoo, is in the can and done with an entirely different cast. Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, Rachel McAdams and Bill Murray are now the film’s stars.

The Hawaii-set romantic comedy will finally be arriving this summer, partly thanks to the success of American Sniper that will hopefully make new Bradley Cooper fans seek this out.

A potential crowd-pleaser, opens in theaters on May 29th and also stars Alec Baldwin, John Krasinski, and Danny McBride.

Watch the first trailer for Aloha, the latest from Almost Famous and Jerry Maguire director Cameron Crowe who also wrote and co-produced the pic with Scott Rudin.

Is this Aloha “hello,” or Aloha “goodbye”? The trailer somewhat confirmed it means “hello and goodbye,” at least for me. And that Bill Murray “life perspective-preachy speech”…it’s so pathetic.

In Aloha, a celebrated military contractor (Bradley Cooper) returns to the site of his greatest career triumphs – the US Space program in Honolulu, Hawaii – and reconnects with a long-ago love (Rachel McAdams) while unexpectedly falling for the hard-charging Air Force watchdog (Emma Stone) assigned to him. From Academy Award®-winner Cameron Crowe, the writer-director behind such films as Jerry Maguire and Almost Famous, Aloha also stars Bill Murray, John Krasinski, Danny McBride, and Alec Baldwin.
