First DAREDEVIL Trailer Now Available!

Marvel Netflix Series

Marvel Entertainment and Netflix have now released the first full-length trailer for the upcoming superhero miniseries, “Daredevil,“ which will debut 13 hour-long episodes on April 10.

After seeing this trailer I must admit I was wrong yesterday. This one is so moody and angry and captures Matt Murdock at this point very well. I love the idea of adult orientated take on vigilante heroes, which is much more down to earth than Marvel’s films. I look forward to seeing this.

See for yourself below.

Without a doubt, the biggest reveals of the trailer are as follows (via CB):

“Stick” – The blind mentor of Daredevil, played by Scott Glenn, is a master martial artist who teaches Matt Murdock everything he knows about being a vigilante. (Image#09)

“Matt’s senses” – The enhanced senses Daredevil has to replace his lost sight. We get a hint of that in the street scene. (Image#17)

“Karen Page” – One of Matt’s early love interests in the comics, played by Deborah Ann Woll in the Netflix series. Daredevil’s relationships all tend to be tragic, so the potential for drama here is high. (Image#18)

“Foggy Nelson” – Matt Murdock’s law partner and best friend, played by Elden Enson, has been by Matt’s side throughout the highs and many lows of his life and superhero career. (Image#19)

“Wilson Fisk” – Daredevil’s greatest enemy, played here by Vincent D’onofrio. Fisk and Daredevil have a grudging respect for each other, despite being on the opposite sides of the battle for Hell’s Kitchen. There is on one blink-and-you’ll-miss-it scene that shows Fisk and Matt Murdock on a collision course. (Image#21)

Produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios, with executive producers Steven S. DeKnight (“Spartacus”), Jeph Loeb (“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”) and Drew Goddard (The Cabin in the Woods), the full 13-episode season will be made available globally upon release in all territories where Netflix is available.

Starring Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple), Bob Gunton (Leland Owlsely aka The Owl), Vondie Curtis Hall (Ben Urich), Toby Leonard Moore (Wesley, Wilson Fisk’s right hand man), Ayelet Zurer (Vanessa Fisk), and Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk), “Marvel’s Daredevil” follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.
