First Full-Length Trailer for Disney’s ‘Alice Through the Looking Glass’

After watching a weeks worth of teasers, Walt Disney Pictures has finally released the first full-length Alice Through the Looking Glass trailer, which you can watch in the player below.

Johnny Depp  and Mia Wasikowska are back for the followup to Tim Burton’s 2010 blockbuster Alice in Wonderland, as the Mad Hatter and Alice.

Directed by James Bobin, the sequel also stars Helena Bonhan Carter as the Red Queen and Anne Hathaway as the White Queen. Sacha Baron Cohen portrays a new character called Time whose powers allow Alice to visit the Wonderland characters at different times in their lives. Rhys Ifans is also coming along for the ride this time around as the villainous Mad Hatter’s father.

The film opens in theaters on May 27, 2016, and co-stars Matt Lucas, Ed Speelers, along with the voices of Stephen Fry, Alan Rickman, Toby Jones, Michael Sheen, Timothy Spall, Paul Whitehouse, and Barbara Windsor, respectively.

The Hatter has lost his Muchness, so Mirana (Hathaway) sends Alice on a quest to borrow the Chronosphere, a metallic globe inside the chamber of the Grand Clock which powers all time. Returning to the past, she comes across friends – and enemies – at different points in their lives, and embarks on a perilous race to save the Hatter before time runs out.
