First Full Trailer for Netflix’s ‘Pee-wee’s Big Holiday’

Joe Manganiello & Paul Reubens

Netflix has released the first full-length trailer for Pee-wee’s Big Holiday, the wackiest of all road-trip movies starring Paul Reubens as the giggly man-child character Pee-wee Herman.

Joe Manganiello plays a cool biker dude, showing off his comedic chops in the first Pee-wee movie since 1988’s Big Top Pee-wee. Jessica Pohly, Alia Shawkat and Stephanie Beatriz co-stars.

The Judd Apatow-produced movie will premiere at SXSW and then open in limited release and begin streaming on Netflix on March 18th. John Lee directed the film, which was penned by Reubens and Paul Rush.

Like the Muppets, the whole set up is basically nullifying the fact that he has willingly already gone out and seen the US. Check it out after the jump.

The new film stars the beloved fun-loving hero of TV, stage and film, Pee-wee Herman. In Pee-wee’s Big Holiday, a fateful meeting with a mysterious stranger inspires Pee-wee Herman to take his first-ever holiday in this epic story of friendship and destiny. The film stars Pee-wee Herman, Joe Manganiello (True Blood, Magic Mike XXL), Jessica Pohly (Stalker), Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development) and Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), and was directed by John Lee (Wonder Showzen, Pee-wee’s Big Holiday). Paul Reubens and Paul Rust (Love, Arrested Development) wrote the film, that was produced by Reubens and Judd Apatow (Trainwreck, Bridesmaids).
