First look at Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne on BATMAN V SUPERMAN Set [UPDATED]

Here’s your first look at Ben Affleck on the set of Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice as the billionaire crime-fighter, Bruce Wayne.

University of Missouri assistant professor Samuel Otten, who just happened to be present during filming also shared the following shakey-cam video from the set in the Corktown area of Detroit.

Beware of some spoilers, Otten described a scene of children holding hands and exiting the building that serves as the front for Wayne Enterprises.

Presumably, they were being rescued, escorted out as part of whatever massive fight involving Batman or Superman partially destroyed the building.

Coming to theaters on May 6, 2016, the follow-up to 2013’s Man of Steel also stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons.

Affleck seems like a good dude. I hope he tears shit up as Batman.
But why are they filming the action movie now when it is suppose to come out in 2016?

Whatever the case, another video from Detroit featuring Affleck’s Bruce Wayne stunt doubles filming a scene for Dawn of Justice has surfaced. Check it out.

Otten commented on his own video:

“Several Bruce Wayne stand-in’s and stunt doubles were on set today. You can see them blocking out a scene involving the rescue of a small girl and the collapsing of a large piece of the Wayne Financial building. Based on city buses and police cars, this is presumed to be in Metropolis, not Gotham. I don’t know that any of these are Ben Affleck himself, but you can be the judge. Probably him in the first sequence, but definitely not the later ones. At the very least, it’s Bruce Wayne.”
