First Look at Radcliffe & McAvoy in VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN

20th Century Fox Iteration

Yeah, Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy are ready to make a monster in Victor Frankenstein, the latest iteration of Mary Shelley’s classic tale.

The first official images (via Empire) have landed online, following the first footage 20th Century Fox showed to attendees at CinemaCon on Thursday.

Actually, this iteration centers on the relationship between the obsessed scientist of the title (McAvoy) and his assistant Igor (Radcliffe), but they must deal with the reanimated creature, of course. Mmm…Professor X wants to make a monster, so he hires Harry Potter as assistant. It all finally makes sense….lol. Can’t we get fresh stories anymore ?

Directed by Paul McGuigan (Sherlock) and penned by Max Landis (Chronicle), the film has an October 2nd release, also starring Jessica Brown Findlay, Andrew Scott and Mark Gatiss.

Check out a couple of behind the scenes images in the mini gallery below.

James McAvoy is Victor Von Frankenstein and Daniel Radcliffe stars as Igor in a unique, never-before-seen twist on Mary Shelley’s classic 19th century novel. Told from Igor’s perspective, we see the troubled young assistant’s dark origins, his redemptive friendship with the young medical student Victor Von Frankenstein, and become eyewitnesses to the emergence of how Frankenstein became the man — and the legend — we know today.
