First Trailer: ‘Dark Crimes’

Saban Films’ Thriller

Saban Films has released an official trailer for Dark Crimes, a crime thriller from Greek director Alexandros Avranas (Miss Violence).

Originally titled True Crimes, the film stars Golden Globe winner Jim Carrey and takes its inspiration from a New Yorker article about a homicide investigation and the Polish novelist eventually convicted of the murder.

Marton Csokas plays the author, and the cast includes Charlotte Gainsbourg, Kati Outinen, Vlad Ivanov, Agata Kulesza, Robert Wieckiewicz, and Piotr Glowacki.

Jeremy Brock penned the script with the film hitting DirecTV on April 19 and limited theaters/VOD on May 18. Watch the trailer below.
