First Trailer for 45 YEARS Starring Charlotte Rampling

Andrew Haigh‘s new drama 45 Years premiered at February’s Berlin Film Festival. Charlotte Rampling and Tom Courtenay both picked up Best Actress and Best Actor prizes for their acting talents.

The veteran British thesps play married couple who are celebrating 45 years of marriage when the body of her husband’s past girlfriend has been found. She died 50 years ago in a tragic accident, but the couple had been rocked by the news. Rampling “rarely been better” than she is in this relationship drama and Courtenay delivered a fantastic performance too.

Based on a short story by David Constantine, 45 Years opens in the UK on August 28th. No U.S. release date has been set yet. Watch the first trailer for the movie. (The Guardian)
