First Trailer for ‘Despicable Me 3’ Features Balthazar Bratt
Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment have debuted the first Despicable Me 3 trailer, which sees Gru (Steve Carell) facing off against the film’s new, nefarious villain Balthazar Bratt.
Voiced by “South Park” co-creator Trey Parker, Balthazar is a former ’80s child star who’s turned to a life of international crime.
Directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda, co-directed by Eric Guillon, and penned by Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio, Despicable Me 3 is set to hit theaters on June 30, 2017.
The animated film also stars Kristen Wiig (Lucy Wilde), Miranda Cosgrove (Margo), Dana Gaier (Edith), Nev Scharrel (Agnes), Russell Brand (Dr. Nefario), Andy Nyman (Clive), Pierre Coffin (Kevin the Minion / Bob the Minion / Stuart the Minion / additional Minions) and Michael Beattie (The Scar-Faced Man).

It’s strange at first hearing Trey Parker in film that is not his own, but pretty cool. This trailer is incredibley wierd too.
