First Trailer for Drug-War Thriller SICARIO, Starring Emily Blunt
Denis Villenueve’s drug-war thriller Sicario debuted to strong reviews at Cannes, especially for its star Emily Blunt, and now Lionsgate has released the film’s intense first official trailer to get you amped.
Shot by Roger Deakins, Sicario (which means hitman in Mexico) is certainly an attention-grabber movie about an FBI agent and two Delta Force rangers who cross from Tucson to Mexico to catch a drug lord.
The film co-stars Benicio Del Toro, Josh Brolin, Victor Garber, Jeffrey Donovan, Daniel Kaluuya and Jon Bernthal, and it opens in limited release on September 18th and expands wide the following week.
