First Trailer for Ed Helms & Owen Wilson Comedy ‘Bastards’
Warner Bros. has unveiled the first trailer for Bastards, the upcoming comedy starring Ed Helms and Owen Wilson.
Directed by Lawrence Sher, the cinematographer behind the Hangover films, this road comedy tells the story of fraternal twins set out on a journey to find their real father after it comes to light their mother (Glenn Close) has been lying about their supposedly dead dad.
Also starring J.K. Simmons, Terry Bradshaw, Katie Aselton, Ving Rhames, Ryan Cartwright, Katt Williams, and June Squibb, Bastards hits theaters January 27. January 27, huh? That’s not a good sign…
Wasn’t sold til I saw Williams. Love me some Rhames too.
Helms and Wilson play Peter and Kyle Reynolds, two brothers whose eccentric mother (Glenn Close) raised them to believe their father had died when they were young. When they discover this to be a lie, they set out to find their real father, learning more about their mother than they probably ever wanted to know.
