First Trailer for Jay Baruchel’s Sequel ‘Goon: Last of the Enforcers’
The first trailer and poster have debuted for the sequel Goon: Last of the Enforcers, starring Seann William Scott as Doug ‘The Thug’ Glatt.
The follow-up to Canadian-American sports comedy reunites almost all of the original cast: Liev Schreiber and Marc-Andre Grondin as Ross ‘The Boss’ Rhea and Xavier LaFlamme, Kim Coates as Highlanders Coach Ronnie Hortense, and Alison Pill as Doug’s love interest Eva. Jay Baruchel also returns as Doug’s best friend, and makes his directorial debut behind the camera, too. They’ll be joined by T.J. Miller, Elisha Cuthbert and Wyatt Russell.
Goon: Last of the Enforcers opens in Canada on March 17, 2017, but still doesn’t have a U.S. release date. Watch it below.
First one was cool. This one looks fun.
After one too many concussions, hockey enforcer Doug Glatt (Seann William Scott) is forced to give up his aspirations of going to the big show and settle into a buttoned down career as an insurance salesman at the urging of his pregnant wife Eva (Alison Pill). However, Doug can’t resist the siren call of the Highlanders, so he sets course to reclaim his former glory.
