First Trailer for Laurel and Hardy Biopic ‘Stan & Ollie’
Entertainment One has released the first trailer for the upcoming biopic Stan & Ollie which stars Steve Coogan and John C. Reilly as the titular comedy duo, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy.
Nina Arianda and Shirley Henderson play their wives Lucille and Ida. Directed by John S. Baird from a screenplay written by Jeff Pope, the film focuses on the tail-end of their career as they complete a tour around post-war Britain.
The movie will premiere at the 62nd BFI London Film Festival on October 21, before opening in theaters across the U.K. on January 11, 2019.
