First Trailer for ‘Mother’s Day’ with Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston & Kate Hudson

Julia Roberts & Jennifer Aniston

It’s actually a Valentine’s Day – the annual celebration of love and libido, but instead of gifting a bunch, take a look at new trailer for Mother’s Day, another Hallmark holiday that is getting the big screen treatment.

The film was directed by Valentine’s Day helmer Garry Marshall, the screenplay was written by four people (not by a robot), and it really stars Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, Jason Sudeikis, Sarah Chalke and character actress Margo Martindale, respectively.

Yeah, this star-studded ensemble comedy revolves around three loosely interconnected generations on the titular spring holiday, picking up on the heels of Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Sigh.

The film also stars Britt Robertson, Sarah Chalke, Shay Mitchell, Jon Lovitz and Aasif Mandvi Timothy Olyphant, and it opens April 29th — which is actually the weekend before Mother’s Day.

We must stop Garry Marshall, before it’s too late.
