First Trailer for Ramin Bahrani’s New Film 99 HOMES

The first trailer for Ramin Bahrani’s new drama 99 Homes has arrived online. Starring Andrew Garfield and Michael Shannon, the latest film from very talented indie filmmaker Bahrani (Man Push Cart, At Any Price) marks Garfield’s first feature as a producer.

Inspired by true events, 99 Homes follows a man who goes to work for the real estate tycoon that recently evicted his family from their home.

Co-written by Iranian master Amir Naderi and Bahareh Azimi‐Khoie, this intense dramatic thriller premiered at the Venice Film Festival last year and will finally hit theaters on September 25, 2015. Laura Dern, Noah Lomax, Tim Guinee, J.D. Evermore, and Clancy Brown co-stars.

In this timely thriller, when single father Dennis Nash (Golden Globe nominee Andrew Garfield) is evicted from his home, his only chance to win it back is to work for Rick Carver (Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon), the ruthless businessman who evicted him in the first place. It’s a deal with the devil that may save his family home, but as Nash falls deeper into Carver’s web, he finds his situation grows more brutal and dangerous than he ever imagined.
