Daniel Espinosa's Sci-Fi Thriller

Sony Pictures debuted the first official trailer for Life during “The Walking Dead,” and it looks pretty damn good.

Directed by Daniel Espinosa, and written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, the new sci-fi thriller brings together Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal as they play a couple of astronauts that are part of a team that discovers the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars.

Also starring Rebecca Ferguson, Hiroyuki Sanada, Ariyon Bakare and Olga Dihovichnaya, Life opens in U.S. theaters on Friday, May 26 over Memorial Day weekend. Watch the first official trailer.
