First Trailer for ‘The Glass Castle’ Starring Brie Larson

Lionsgate (via EW) has revealed the first trailer for Destin Daniel Cretton’s Oscar contender The Glass Castle, starring Brie Larson, Woody Harrelson and Naomi Watts.

Based on Jeanette Walls’ best-selling memoir of the same name, the story tracks the life of a successful New York-based journalist all the way back to her poverty-filled childhood. Larson plays the adult version, with Harrelson and Watts playing her dysfunctional parents.

The Glass Castle opens in theaters August 11th and also co-stars Max Greenfield, Ella Anderson and Sarah Snook. Check out the first trailer and poster below.
