First Trailer for Tim Burton’s ‘Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children’

Tim Burton's Fantasy Adventure

20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for Tim Burton‘s latest fantasy adventure Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, which reunites the filmmaker with Dark Shadows actress Eva Green.

This time, Green plays the kind of Professor X ( I’d like to meet) to a bunch of gifted youngsters, while Asa Butterfield plays the young hero in this adaptation of a Ransom Riggs-penned novel.

Written by Jane Goldman, the film hits theaters on September 30th, 2016. Also starring Chris O’Dowd, Ella Purnell, Allison Janney, Rupert Everett, Terence Stamp, Judi Dench, and Samuel L. Jackson, check out the trailer below, along with the first poster.

Eva Green is clearly Burton’s new Helena Bonham-Carter and that seems to be a good thing at the moment. However, I’ve been burned with his last few films so I’m cautiously optimistic about this. That underwater sequence looks great though.
