First Trailer for Tom Ford’s Noir Thriller ‘Nocturnal Animals’
Focus Features has released the first trailer for Tom Ford’s Nocturnal Animals, the ambitious noir-inspired thriller starring Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal that win the Grand Jury Prize in Venice.
Based on the novel “Tony and Susan” by Austin Wright, the film’s plot features two different narratives and follows a wealthy gallery proprietor working in the upper echelons of the L.A. art scene whose past resurfaces when a manuscript from her ex-husband arrives.
Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Isla Fisher, Karl Glusman, Armie Hammer, Laura Linney, Andrea Riseborough, and Michael Sheen also star in the follow-up film from A Single Man filmmaker. Nocturnal Animals opens in select theaters on November 18th and goes nationwide December 9th. Watch the teaser trailer below.
