First U.S. Trailer for the Anthology Film ‘Rio, I Love You’

The first official U.S. trailer for the anthology film Rio, I Love You has arrived, almost 18 months after an initial pair and the film’s premiere.

The latest in the Cities of Love franchise, which includes the 2006 film Paris, je t’aime and the 2009 film New York, I Love You, features direction from the likes of Guillermo Arriaga, Stephan Elliott, Im Sang-soo, Nadine Labaki, Fernando Meirelles, José Padilha, Carlos Saldanha, Paolo Sorrentino, John Turturro and Andrucha Waddington, and Harvey Keitel, Emily Mortimer, Vincent Cassel, Jason Isaacs, and Turturro himself appear in the film.

Rio, I Love You has a limited release in the United States on April 15th. Check out the trailer below:

I am not a big fan from this series but Rio definitely looks worth a watch.

The Anthology Film

The third episode of the Cities of Love franchise, Rio, I Love You is an anthology created by 10 visionary directors from across the globe. The story line of each segment focuses on an encounter of love in a different neighborhood of the city, demonstrating the distinctive qualities and character of that location. The film serves to bridge gaps between cultures, educating and entertaining the audience while celebrating unique and universal expressions of love.
