First ‘Wonder Woman’ Set Photo Features Chris Pine & Said Taghmaoui

Patty Jenkins Directed Film

Filming for Warner Bros.’ Wonder Woman is currently underway in London and first photos from the set have been released online, courtesy of new cast member Said Taghmaoui (Lost, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra).

The photo reveals the French actor and Chris Pine, in what looks like old 1940s attire, which would mean that the studio is indeed going with the character’s comic book origins. The leaked image of Taghmaoui in costume from the World War II era and Pine in his full Steve Trevor getup was deleted shortly after being uploaded.

Chris Pine As Steve Trevor

Dang! I’m assuming Pine’s character will be preserved somehow and be alive and well in modern day. The other is of three chairs with their names as well as the only other confirmed member of the cast, Gal Gadot. You can also notice “Nightingale” on the side of the trailer, which is the working title for the film.

Three Chairs With Names

Directed by Patty Jenkins and written by Jason Fuchs, Gadot’s Wonder Woman solo film is scheduled for June 23, 2017 release with a rumor going around that Nicole Kidman could join the cast. Gadot will first be seen in as the character in March’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

My hype is starting to rise. Hopefully it continues to do so.
