Full-Length PEANUTS Trailer Arrives

snoopy, takes, off,in, sky

The first full-length trailer for the long-awaited CGI upgrade of Charles Shultz’s beloved comic-strip Peanuts has arrived….good grief, Charlie Brown!

On Monday, producer Paul Feig (Bridesmaids) tweeted:

But according to a news release from 20th Century Fox, Snoopy fouled things up, accidentally “leaking” the trailer early. Maybe Brown’s pet pooch did it in a hurry because he wished to take off in the sky in his doghouse-turned-Sopwith Camel plane for a trip to Paris.

The Peanuts Movie opens on November 6th, 2015 to celebrate the 65th Anniversary. Steve Martino (Ice Age: Continental Drift) directs from a script penned by Schultz’s son Craig, grandson Bryan, Feig, and Michael J. Travers.

See one untrustworthy beagle, Woodstock and his flock–bedecked in teeny Santa hats, and the whole Peanuts gang rendered in 3D CGI.

Good grief, the animation is awesome and the trailer looks pretty good! I love the fact that they kept the original designs. The musical interruption of Flo Rida was a little weird though.

In PEANUTS, a 3D, CGI animated comedic adventure, Snoopy, the world’s most lovable beagle – and flying ace! – embarks upon his greatest mission as he and his team take to the skies to pursue their arch-nemesis, while his best pal Charlie Brown begins his own epic quest back home.
