GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2 Officially Coming July 2017

Thanos-Teased-On-His-Hover-Throne-Chair

Marvel announced during their panel at Hall H yesterday that a Guardians of the Galaxy sequel has already been given the greenlight. With the words of Rocket Racoon: “Oh yeah!”

No doubt the studio have way too much confidence in Guardians and seem to know that they already have a hit on their hand. This doesn’t come as a huge surprise after James Gunn already revealed that it would happen a week ago. Moreover, the sequel is teased in the end credits of the Guardians of the Galaxy, which hits theaters next Friday.

So Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will arrive on July 28, 2017 and Gunn will return to write and direct the sequel as well as the entire Guardians cast is also expected to return.
