‘Hellboy 3’ will Reportedly 100% Not Happen

Ron Perlman

Guillermo Del Toro has seemingly called it a wrap on advocating for Hellboy 3. The writer-director made sad the announcement on Twitter despite the fact that he promised fans that he would sit down with Ron Perlman and Mike Mignola and talk about a possible sequel if Twitter poll would get 100 thousand votes in 24 hours. By the time the poll closed, it had 132,938 votes. Now it appears they did meet and talk, but it didn’t go well.

Hellboy made his big screen debut in the 2004 film of the same name. The sequel, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, was released in 2008.

No one wants to fund the thing. That’s the sole issue. But what about Hellboy 4: The Search for Hellboy 3?
