Here’s the First Trailer for ‘Dragon Tattoo’ Reboot ‘The Girl in the Spider’s Web’
Sony Pictures has debuted the first domestic and international trailers for the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo sequel/reboot The Girl in the Spider’s Web.
Fede Alvarez’s adaptation of the fourth story (chronologically) in the Millennium franchise stars Claire Foy (“The Crown”) as the new incarnation of Stieg Larsson’s iconic vigilante Lisbeth Salander, previously played on the big screen by Rooney Mara and Noomi Rapace.
Swedish actor Sverrir Gudnason co-stars as her cohort Mikael Blomkvist. The cast also includes Sylvia Hoeks, Lakeith Stanfield, Stephen Merchant, Claes Bang, Christopher Convery, Synnove Macody Lund, and Vicky Krieps. The script is written by Alvarez, Jay Basu, and Steven Knight. Adapted from the book of the same name written by David Lagercrantz who took over after Larsson passed away in 2004.

Sony will open The Girl in the Spider’s Web in theaters November 9.
