Here’s the First TV Spot for ‘The Hateful Eight’

Quentin Tarantino's Civil War Western

The very first TV spot for Quentin Tarantino‘s The Hateful Eight pops up online and it looks like events that take place inside a stagecoach stopover on a mountain pass called Minnie’s Haberdashery are becoming a little clearer.

In the new promo, Samuel L. Jackson‘s former Union soldier Major Marquis Warren reveals a White Hell upon seven strangers, suspecting that one of the men in the store is actually working to free Daisy Domergue (Jennifer Jason Leigh), the woman sentenced to die and held in the custody of John “The Hangman” Ruth (Kurt Russell).

Take a look at the new TV ad for The Hateful Eight, which begins its glorious 70mm run on December 25th, before going wide on January 8th. The film also stars Walton Goggins, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Demian Bichir, Bruce Dern, and Channing Tatum.

Looks like they kind of turned the concept of Reservoir Dogs on its head and put it in a Civil War Western setting, which is cool. The Weinstein Company has also released a final poster showing off the movie’s ensemble backside.

The Final Movie Poster

While racing toward the town of Red Rock in post-Civil War Wyoming, bounty hunter John “The Hangman” Ruth (Kurt Russell) and his fugitive prisoner (Jennifer Jason Leigh) encounter another bounty hunter (Samuel L. Jackson) and a man (Walton Goggins) who claims to be a sheriff. Hoping to find shelter from a blizzard, the group travels to a stagecoach stopover located on a mountain pass. There, they encounter four strangers, and soon learn that they may not make it to their destination after all.
