Here’s ‘The Hallow’ Official Trailer

Irish Supernatural Horror

Here’s another solid horror movie coming out for once. IFC Films has released the first official trailer for the Irish supernatural horror film The Hallow.

The new creature feature based on Celtic folklore has been terrifying audiences on the festival circuit since this year’s Sundance Film Festival and got some good reviews too, of course.

The film is directed by first-time feature director Corin Hardy and stars Joseph Mawle, Bojana Novakovic, Michael McElhatton and Michael Smiley. “Game Of Thrones”‘ Mawle and Edge of Darkness‘ Novakovic star as a young couple who move to the Irish countryside, only to find dark things in the woods.

The Hallow arrives in theaters and on VOD platforms on Nov. 6. Take a look at the trailer below.

Some spine-chilling cinematography in this. Easily the best Irish horror film I’ve seen.

Irish Supernatural Horror

Deep within the darkness of secluded forest land in rural Ireland dwells an ancient evil. Feared by the nearby superstitious villagers as cursed creatures who prey upon the lost, their secrets have been kept from civilization and remain on their hallowed ground. But when a conservationist from London moves in with his wife and infant child in order to survey the land for future construction, his actions unwittingly disturb the horde of demonic forces. Alone in a remote wilderness, he must now ensure his family’s survival from their relentless attacks.
