International TV Spot for ‘Warcraft’ Reveals Some New Footage

Azeroth's Civilization

Universal and Legendary have dropped the first international TV spot for Duncan Jones‘ upcoming video game adaptation Warcraft, ahead of a full international trailer debut.

If you’re hyped to see this spectacular CG-heavy film, see a few bits and pieces of new footage after the jump.

Warcraft stars Travis Fimmel as Anduin Lothar, Ben Foster as Medivh, Dominic Cooper as King Llane Wrynn, Ruth Negga as Lady Taria and Ben Schnetzer as Khadgar, all fighting for The Alliance, and on the side of The Horde is Toby Kebbell as Durotan, Daniel Wu as Gul’Dan and Clancy Brown as Blackhand with Paula Patton’s Garona caught in the middle. The action-packed, 3D shoot ’em up adventure debuts on June 10th, 2016.

It does indeed look pretty meh and amateurish and I hope there’s enough die-hard fans to float it in the theaters.

Duncan Jones 3D Epic Adventure

In Warcraft, based on the Blizzard Entertianment’s epic videogame series, the peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home.
