Keanu Reeves & Jim Carrey Join THE BAD BATCH
Jim Carrey and Keanu Reeves have officially joined Jason Momoa, Suki Waterhouse (Insurgent) and Diego Luna (The Terminal) in The Bad Batch, the cannibal love story from Ana Lily Amirpour, the director of A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night.
Amirpour has received the Gotham Award for Breakthrough Director for her debut the Iranian vampire feature and Annapurna’s Megan Ellison decided to finance and produce her next film, a love story about a cannibal known as Miami Man (Momoa) and his food.
According to The Wrap, the rising star Waterhouse has landed the female lead of Arlen, while Luna will play a man named Jimmy. Reeves is The Dream and Carrey will play The Hermit in this dystopian tale “set in a Texas wasteland.”
The Bad Batch movie begins production in April in various locations around Los Angeles.
I can see it now – Carrey goes “It does taste like chicken,” and then Reeves throws in some fan love with “Whoa”.Lol. Check out the trailer for Amirpour’s debut film A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night.
