Kevin Hart is Snowball in New Trailer for ‘The Secret Life of Pets’

The CG-Animated Talking-Pet Movie

Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment have released another trailer for The Secret Life of Pets, the newest film from the creators of Despicable Me and Minions.

Launching in theaters in July this summer, and starring the voices of Louis C.K. as Max the Terrier, Eric Stonestreet as Duke the mongrel, and Kevin Hart as Snowball the rabbit, the newly revealed third trailer focuses on Snowball’s rescue mission and rallying cry: “Liberated forever, domesticated never.”

Also starring Steve Coogan, Ellie Kemper, Bobby Moynihan, Lake Bell, Hannibal Buress, Jenny Slate, Albert Brooks, and Dana Carvey, the film comes out on July 8, 2016. The CG-animated talking-pet movie is co-directed by Chris Renaud and Yarrow Cheney (of Despicable Me fame), from a script by Brian Lynch (Minions) and the duo of Despicable Me scribes Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio, of course.

Watch the latest trailer for The Secret Life of Pets and meet the white rabbit Snowball, the main antagonist in the film:

The animation looks pretty good. We’ll see how this turns out.

“Inside of a Manhattan apartment building, a jack russel terrier named Max (Louis C.K.) starts to get neglected as a favorite pet when his owner Katie (ellie Kremper) brings home a sloppy mongrel named Duke (Eric Stonestreet), who was rescued from the pound. Little do they know, they have to put their quarrels behind when an adorable white rabbit named Snowball (Kevin Hart), the leader of an army of abandoned pets – called the ‘Flushed Pets’ – is determined to take revenge on all happily-owned pets and their owners.”
