Kim Jong-Un Introduced in the Final THE INTERVIEW Trailer

Sony Pictures Political Comedy

Following the green band and the naughtier red band trailer, Sony has released the final trailer for the Seth Rogen and James Franco action-comedy The Interview and this time we get much more Kim Jong-Un (Randall Park).

We only get a brief glimpse of the North Korean leader as the film’s character in this trailer, and according to Franco’s character, he’s not so bad. I thought Evan Goldberg and Rogen made this movie like Anti-North Korea, but I was wrong. I think the North Korean government will probably watch it too, ‘cos it’s total comedy. The final trailer does offer up how something as minor as a Katy Perry song can be a big between cultures. At least, the dimwitted talk show host finds a lot in common with the militant leader.

Co-starring Lizzy Caplan, Diana Bang, Tommy Chang, Charles Chun and Dominique Lalonde, The Interview hits theaters on December 25.

In the action-comedy The Interview, Dave Skylark (James Franco) and his producer Aaron Rapoport (Seth Rogen) run the popular celebrity tabloid TV show “Skylark Tonight.” When they discover that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is a fan of the show, they land an interview with him in an attempt to legitimize themselves as journalists. As Dave and Aaron prepare to travel to Pyongyang, their plans change when the CIA recruits them, perhaps the two least-qualified men imaginable, to assassinate Kim Jong-un.
