Here’s another cool photo from EW today. The magazine just shared a shot of The Hateful Eight’s terrible twosome, Kurt Russell and Samuel L. Jackson.

Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming Western will also arrive at the San Diego Comic-Con International next weekend, and we have a new image and a quote from Tarantino regarding the humor in the film:

“I can definitely say that as bleak as our movie is, we are definitely the funniest snow Western ever made. This is funnier than The Great Silence, it’s funnier than Day of the Outlaw.”

Speaking about his favorite childhood TV shows like “The Virginian” and “Bonanza,” Tarantino explained how they influenced the film,

“You wait the whole episode to find out, ‘Are they a good guy or are they a bad guy?’ So I thought, ‘What if I did a story that was made up of nothing but those characters?’ So there’s no good guys. There’s no Little Joe.”

Thanks for spoiling the movie, Mr.Tarantino. Opening December 25 in 70mm before hitting theaters everywhere on January 8, 2016, The Hateful Eight also stars Jennifer Jason Leigh, Bruce Dern, Michael Madsen, Walton Goggins and Tim Roth. Check out the full image below.
