Leaked Photos of FANTASTIC FOUR’s New Doctor Doom

We’ve already seen what might be a first look at Jamie Bell’s The Thing and now it’s Dr. Doom’s turn.

The folks over at Geek Pride have a source who apparently worked on Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot set, and they’ve provided the website with two snaps of what appears to be Doctor Doom (Toby Kebbell) as well as Michael B. Jordan’s stunt double for Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, and a pre-CG stand-in for The Thing.

Although Dawn of the Planet of the Apes actor Toby Kebbell is playing the character, it’s not clear if that’s actually him wearing the all-black ensemble complete with a mask and a hooded cape, or a stunt person.

The cast is made up of Miles Teller as Reed Richards/The Rubber Man, Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm/The Thing, Kate Mara as Susan Storm/Invisible Woman, Michael B. Jordan as Sue’s brother Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, and Toby Kebbell as the nefarious Doctor  Doom.

The screenwriter Simon Kinberg said that The Fantastic Four plot would center on coming of age and origin stories:

“They’re older than high school, but they’re not quite grown into the world. If anything, this is a coming of age story. It depends on what books you look at. There are some, like the Ultimate books, that tell this story. So it is an origin story of the Fantastic Four, and it does follow them before they really know what a superhero is.”

Fox’s  reboot of the Marvel property that focuses on four astronauts who gain superpowers after cosmic radiation exposure is slated for release on June 19, 2015 in the U.S.

UPDATE: Fox claim ownership of leaked Doctor Doom set images.
