Apparently, Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige wasn’t kidding when he said Studios had mapped out their Cinematic Universe up through 2028.

Tonight, Marvel announced release slots for five new films, though they have not confirmed the titles of these upcoming releases, which take us all the way through Summer 2019.

Here’s a look at the official PR:

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has continued to grow every year since it began in 2008 with Marvel’s Iron Man, and now we’ve got the dates for five more films coming your way through 2019!

While we can’t tell you just what they are yet, you can look forward to new films hitting theaters July 28 and November 3, 2017; July 6 and November 2, 2018; and May 3, 2019.

Stay tuned to Marvel.com for the latest on the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe, True Believers–you won’t want to miss a moment of it!

Given that Feige said that they would like to have one new franchise and one sequel with an existing character each year there were rumors popping up that May 6, 2016 will be Captain America 3, followed by Doctor Strange on July 8th, especially as we know they have a director attached.

For 2017 some people think we’ll see Thor 3, then either Black Panther or Ms Marvel, and then finally Guardians 2 if Guardians of the Galaxy is as wildly popular as we think it will be when it hits theaters August 1. Only time will tell could May 3, 2019 be The Avengers 3 release date.

So these new dates are in addition to:

August 1, 2014: Guardians of the Galaxy
May 1, 2015: Avengers: Age of Ultron
July 17, 2015: Ant-Man
May 6, 2016: Captain America 3
July 8, 2016: TBD [presumably Doctor Strange]

Moreover, there was also a movie set for May 2017 a while back. So that means 2017 could potentially bring three Marvel movies, and some assume that it will be Avengers 3, which has to be the major culmination of Phase 3. This means there are 11 Marvel movies heading our way before 2020.

God help us all.
