Let’s start the new year with a wink and a laugh. London-based filmmaker Matthew Potter and his friends behind Budget Videos decided to make the parody of the famous Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer.

Hit the jump to check out the cleverly making BB-8 move by attaching him to the end of Rey’s staff and a flamethrower being replicated by and old bed sheet as well as an R2-D2 made out of a literal garbage can.

That was the most accurate Chewie I’ve ever seen. Jokes aside, I give it ten out of 10 for its resourceful use of an admittedly-limited budget. I’d watch a full movie remake of such quality.

Elsewhere, the J.J. Abrams‘ record-breaking space film is now Disney’s highest-grossing film of all time, putting it ahead of Marvel’s The Avengers, which earned $623.4 million. Force‘s domestic gross is $629 million.
